Loved this place! Saw a friend visit on FB, so when I was in the area I checked it out. Cheese curds were wonderful. Bloody Mary's were perfect! Everything people around me ordered looked delicious! Taco Salad was amazing - I ordered it with Buffalo Sauce and Ranch vs Salsa and Sour Cream. (Their Ranch is excellent!) Workers were pleasant and friendly. I wished they'd been on Door Dash to order again while we were working in the area. Looking forward to going back!
Went for lunch. Parking can be hard to find and if you park on the street it’s only a two hour limit. Party of 5. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by the bar tender and waitress. Very friendly. Promptly seated and asked about drinks. Looked over their drinks menu. One of the best selection of drinks in the entire area. Food selection/variety isn’t the greatest but they make up for it in quality. Their Buffalo Wings are incredible! Some of the best I’ve had from across the entire world. Juicy and flavorful! Their Truffle Curds are also amazing. Almost never see Truffle Curds for sale but out of the few places I’ve had them, Guy’s has the best!! Prices for food and drink are really good too. Highly recommend for lunch and/or live music on Weds!! Can’t speak to the dinner or nightlife but for Live Music Weds…you HAVE to go!!!
First time we tried Guu’s since the new owners stepped in. We were there to celebrate a birthday over a lunch hour. We were greeted as we entered by the friendly owner and staff. The waitress was prompt and brought a pitcher of water to keep our cups full, which we appreciated. Food was served promptly, helpful because we were there over a lunch hour. (We did make a reservation.)
The food was all good. No complaints. The jalapeño Mac & cheese was a large portion & spicy. So, be sure you mention if you don’t want it too spicy. The person that ordered it loved it, so it wasn’t a problem. Everyone loved their fries. The soup was creamy wild rice and was on the thicker side, which we don’t mind. Burgers were tasty and the taco salad was huge. All in all, it’s a great place to try and to frequent! Looking forward to trying the fish fry sometime.
Bonus was the chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert for the birthday girl!! It was huge, impressionable and rich! Compliments to this service industry crew!!
Excellent service and excellent food. The chicken wings were very good.
A little busier than I care for (I deal with anxiety issues, etc) and could be overwhelming for someone who deals with similar, on busy nights. But food is great, prices are fair, staff are friendly. I enjoyed the place and had a great experience despite feeling a bit overwhelming due to lots of people.
Oh my gosh, let me just say that the truffle parmesan coated cheese curds with the made in house ranch are probably some of my favorite tasting curds in Wisconsin... and that's saying something. Also a gold star in my book is for having one of my favorite ciders on tap... the Downeast Original unfiltered cider.... so, so good and even better on tap! My friend really enjoyed the blackened salmon Cesar with a mountain of croutons on top and I thought the chowder was just okay. Overall worth a stop alone, just for their curds though! Mmmmm, mmmm, good!
It was a fun place to eat after our daughter's graduation ceremony. They had our table reserved and ready for us! Very friendly server and great food!
Fish fry; date night. Had a 30 minute wait, we were fine. Bar staff very efficient and prompt. Our waitress was good and took our order quickly. We ordered shrimp scampi (?) and chicken wings as an appetizer. Our entrees arrived first; shrimp scampi uses linguine, not curly pasta. Our food was cold; we sent it back. Came back 10 minutes later, still cold (I handed a noodle to the waitress as proof). Then the wings arrived.
The third time, the pasta had been zapped so many times, it was dry (but warm!). Had no flavor whatsoever.
Asked for the manager on duty; was informed they don’t have one. No one offered to “make it right”, and the bill came for two entrees (both sent back).
Not cool, Guu’s. We won’t be dining with you again (after all, Arbuckles is just around the corner).
